1. During this month I did not work on LTS but focused on ELTS instead.

Debian ELTS
===========

1. samba:

   I spent almost all of my time on a security update for samba. I have
   successfully backported all security patches to stretch and buster and
   finished testing the buster security update of samba which I intend to
   release first. The Stretch update requires further testing because of the
   much older codebase.  This one will be released a few days after the
   security update for Buster.

2. tomcat8:

   I uploaded the first part of a larger tomcat8 security update to
   our staging area. I discarded the idea of upgrading tomcat8 to the latest
   released version for now because it did not help in solving non-HTTP/2
   related problems and made the security update even more complicated. I
   clarified certain CVE and marked them as ignored instead of postponed
   because their impact is minor.
